Calderon Sworn In

Mexican President-Elect Felipe Calderon, a conservative, was sworn in today amid some chaos. Calderon won a close race that was followed by protests that were called for by the losing candidates. As of now the entire North American continent is essentially 100% conservative. The United States can be argued as the current exception to that.

MEXICO CITY - Felipe Calderon took the oath of office as Mexico's president Friday amid jeers and whistles, a lightning-fast ceremony before lawmakers who exchanged punches and insults over the conservative leader's narrow victory.
